We are offering riding lessons to riders ages 10+. Please bear in mind that we follow SafeSport guidelines so children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult unless you’d like to sign the SafeSport One on One training session acceptance form. More information on that can be provided upon request.
Off Farm/Traveling Lessons
We are happy to offer traveling lessons to anyone in the central KY area. We can come to you at your farm or we can meet you at another local farm that offers schooling (jumping, cross country, etc) to teach you. If we will be meeting you at a schooling farm/location you are required to pay the schooling fees, take care of signing any waivers, and schedule your time slot with that farm as needed. If you’d like a regularly scheduled travel lesson, we can certainly get that on our calendar! Please call, text, or email us to schedule.
45 Minute Private Lesson at Your Farm – $85 and up
Private riding lesson on your horse at your farm lasting 45 minutes. Appropriate riding attire is required. Cost is $85 for any location within approximately 45 minutes of our farm. If you are outside of a 45 minute driving radius we may ask for an extra travel fee, to be determined based on distance unless there will be more than one lesson at that location. Cross Country Coaching at Schooling Venues – $85 and up
We can meet you at a local cross country schooling venue for coaching/a lesson or a training ride on your horse if you’d like. You are responsible for paying the schooling venue and scheduling or coordinating with them. Appropriate riding attire (including your own vest) is required. Cost is $85 for any location within 45 minutes of our farm. The same travel fee mentioned in the above section may apply for locations outside of that radius unless there are multiple riders. Please call, text, or email us to schedule. ***Discount offered if you meet us with our students or training horses for schooling. If you come at the same time as a schooling outing we already have scheduled it is $60 for coaching instead. If you are interested in this please ask about our scheduled schoolings when you reach out.***
Coaching at Local Shows – $85 and up
This is only offered to people we have taught lessons to/done a schooling with prior to the show. You must schedule in advance. If you’re at a show we’re already attending, it is just $85. If we are not already attending the show, the rate starts at $85 depending on the show and how long we’ll be needed. Please reach out to discuss or for more information.
If we are in attendance at a show and you request coaching/help, we may offer some coaching, but without knowing your background at all it is hard to help as effectively as we could without a prior relationship, therefore, we would not charge for it.
